Goodnight Fatty

Salem, Massachusetts

Pop-up Cookie shop turned late night staple

We are back in Salem! This weekend we tried Goodnight Fatty, located in Washington Square, Salem. Goodnight Fatty originally started as a “pop-up” cookie shop located in Higginson Square. Due to popularity the shop moved to a permanent location in Washington Square.

The menu at Goodnight Fatty is ever changing, offering 3 different cookies a night. In addition to the the cookie main event you can order up a soft serve ice cream (with a cookie topper) or bottomless milk to wash it down.

Twix Cookie: The cookie was chocolate chip with a square piece of Twix candy placed on top. The cookie was soft, had a great texture, with the perfect ratio of chocolate chips. The piece of Twix candy on top added an additional flavor that complimented the other ingredients perfectly.

Pretzel Sugar Cookie: Who doesn’t love sweet and salty? The sugar cookie was soft with a hint of vanilla. The saltiness of the pretzel topper cut through the sweetness of the cookie which was heaven in my mouth.

Bonus!: The Soft serve vanilla was delicious! Give it a try!

Overall Goodnight Fatty provided an excellent late night snack after a few adult beverages. Definitely a must try, cheers!
